Meet Solomon Forder!

Solomon1

(I met Kirk Forder via email when I was looking for information about my new Norwegian Elkhound [see Nala]. Kirk was kind enough to give me the inside track on these cute, loveable, sneaky, faithful dogs. We didn't know much about them at first, just knew she was a sweetie and we loved her. So this is his baby, Solomon. And here's his bio.)

Solomon is three and a half years old, his ped name is Vadderhund Dire Straits, which seems perfectly appropriate considering he broke his leg at 3 months. He now has a permanent metal plate in his right rear leg. You wouldn't know he had broken it a week after surgery, for all his bouncing around, which we tried to deter to no avail, even used a pen, but he would jump out when we turned our backs. Sneaky bugger!

He is genuinely a good natured dog, loves all people, loves all dogs, generally likes everything and everyone. He always has a cold wet nose, Gooey eyed look, lolling tongue, and a happy smile which he uses to his advantage, when he wants something.

  • Magic words are: Bicky, Walkies, Bed, Pizza, Bone.
  • Dislikes: Deep water, baths, being told off by his master, people walking down "HIS" street, not being allowed to do what he wants.
  • Likes: Talking a lot, eating, sleeping, digging, batting things with his paws, Pizza, ice cream, food in general, leaving his fur everywhere. You would be amazed the places we have found it.
  • He is pretty much a typical Norwegian Elkhound,
aloof, independent and friendly as hell!

More pets, please!
