Libby is a rescued Terrier/Dachshund mix. She is approximately 2 years old. I actually matched her up with a dear friend, Judy, and they are the perfect owner/doggy match.
My friend called me the other day, laughing so hard she could hardly talk. Her little Libby loves her doggy treats so much that while Judy went shopping one day, Libby decided she would get a treat. Judy has only had Libby a short time and Libby is still learning house etiquette. To protect the doggy treats while she stepped out, Judy put them way up on a kitchen counter.
Libby, being the very intelligent doggy that she is, planned a way to get them. She jumped on the loveseat in the den, walked across the sofa table behind the loveseat and jumped through the opening in the bar - way behind the loveseat - to the kitchen counter and the over to the other kitchen counter where the treats resided! By the time Judy got home, Libby was so full of treats she could hardly walk. There were even left over treats scattered around Libby could not eat. Libby knew she had been a bad girl as she would just lay down with her head resting on her little feet. Too cute.
