In loving memory of...Kiko Chapman!

Kiko, No...your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. This is not a creature from another planet. It was just our little puppy, Kiko, having a little game of toss with her favorite chew stick.

Hard to imagine that I brought her home when she was a tiny puppy, hidden in the front of my coat so the bus driver wouldn't kick me off for bringing a dog on the bus. But when a friend at a bar said she couldn't keep her, I couldn't bear to see this little puppy without a home. Little did I know that tiny puppy would grow and grow and grow and grow!

In November 2001, Kiko turned 12. That's old for a larger dog like Kiko. Sadly, time was not on her side and pain was getting the best of her. She had a lot of trouble walking and often fell or had a very hard time getting to her feet.

We realized it was time to let Kiko rest. In December 2001...Kiko went to her much earned rest!

We love you, Kiko...and we all miss you very much! Your love and protection gave us great comfort!
