Greg's new reef tank.
(First day, not much going on yet.)

Gooey creatures start to sprout!

Mushrooms

These are living creatures.
Food floats by and sticks to them.
Then they slowly close, like a
Venus Fly Trap. That tiny spot in the middle
is their mouth!

Reaching up for the sun .
These are types of worms. They capture
and pull in food that floats by.

Tons of tiny shrimp live
inside this coral. During the day they are
like ants, frantically buzzing around it,
cleaning and eating stuff
all around it.

It's ALIVE!!!
Don't know what it is...
but it's been growing!

Clowns Fish

Clam Worm

This guy freaked Greg out one day when
he started slipping out of a hole in the
rock. What the hell is that?!?!
We're still trying to find out if he's
poisonous or not. Some web sites say
he is...others say he's not????

The missing link! (walking fish)

Hey cutie!

These little goby-family fish crack
us up. They walk on their fins and
have tiny, fairy-like wings (fins)
on the top that allow them to fly/float
through the water. They
walk on the rocks like gravity doesn't
exist! Eyes like a lizard and a
mouth like a parrot!

More gooey creatures!
We don't know what this is...but
it's been tossing out webs,
caught some fish food the other
day and feelers came out to help it
sucked the food down its tube!

Another Blenny (goby type) dude.

This hermit crab found his dinner.
We're havin' shrimp tonight!

Banggai Cardinal

Blenny on the prowl (on his fins).

And he, too, finds a mouthful of shrimp.

"Who's eating SHRIMP!!"

This Peppermint shrimp is a resident,
not a meal. These two guys help keep the joint clean.

Newest resident, an Electric Scallop!

Now them's some big red lips!<g>
Lightning flashes from its lips, too!

Lightning flashes from its lips, too!

Dian's 20gal long—fresh water.
Contains a pile of neon tetras and blood fins.
(All of whom are small and go into hiding
when I break out the camera!<grrrrr>)

Dian's 55gal, fresh water.
I've had this one running for years!
Contains lots of bigger fish...danios,
various gouramis, silver dollars,
rainbow shark, angels,
and various catfish.
